     The object of this suit is to enforce the lien of the Complainant, County of Wise, Virginia, for delinquent real estate taxes against certain real property located in the County of Wise, Virginia, described as follows:

Tax Map No. 076 ( ) 013

Account No. 015657

     All that certain tract or parcel of land, situate in the Richmond Magisterial District, Wise County, Virginia, known as the John Hood tract and being more particularly described as follows, to-wit:

    Beginning at the line of land now or formerly owned by Messer, thence east 161 feet to the corner of the cemetery and in a northerly direction 532 feet to a set stone, thence west 226 feet to the said Messer line, thence south 244 feet to the beginning, containing 2.5, more or less. 

     Less and except that two acre, more or less, portion of land conveyed by Loyd and Anna Hood to James and Jean Messer by deed dated January 25, 1980, of record in Deed Book 539 Page 720.

     Less and except that 0.217 acre, more or less, portion of land conveyed by Ann Louise Hood, Mary Louise Eldrige, Willie Earl Grear and Martha Ann Hood Shoemaker to B & L Properties, Inc. by deed dated April 4, 1996, of record as Instrument No. 960001293.

    And being the remaining 0.283 acre, more or less, portion of the same property conveyed to Martha Ann Baker from Mary Louis Eldrige and Willie Earl Greear by Deed of Gift dated January 23, 2007, and recorded November 2, 2007, in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Wise County, Virginia, as instrument Number 200704553.

   This description is made subject to all easements, conditions, agreements, restrictions, and reservations of record which affect the property herein described including but not limited to those recorded in Deed Book 821, at Page 667 and Deed Book 539, at Page 721.

    IT APPEARING that an Affidavit has been made and filed stating that due diligence has been used, without effect, to ascertain the identity and location of certain parties to be served, that the last known addresses for the Respondents herein are as follows: Martha Ann Baker, who is believed to be deceased and whose last known address is 2203 Kiskadee Lane , Big Stone Gap , Virginia 24219; Joseph Cole Lambert, whose last known address is  unknown; and that any officers, heirs, devisees, and successors in title of the Respondent named herein are made parties Respondent to this action individually and/or by the general description of Parties Unknown, it is hereby 

    ORDERED that the parties herein and all Parties Unknown and/or whose location cannot be ascertained appear on or before November 13, 2026 in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of the County of Wise, Virginia, and do what may be necessary to protect their interests in this cause.
