NOTICE - Hearing on change to Wise County’s FY 2026-2027 budget

NOTICE

     The Wise County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday,  September 10, 2026 at 6:00pm in the School Board Education Center located on Lake Street in Wise for the purpose of receiving public comments on a change to Wise County’s FY 2026-2027 budget in the amount of approximately $1,783,095 which is an amount greater than 1% of the adopted Wise County FY 2026-2027 budget.  This increase is approximately $1,502,624 for received grant funds, $46,776 for enterprise zone, and $233,695 for recovered costs.
