     The object of this suit is to enforce the lien of the Complainant, County of Wise, Virginia, for delinquent real estate taxes against certain real property located in the County of Wise, Virginia, described as follows:

Tax Map No. 028 ( ) 174B1

Account No. 034198

     All that certain tract or parcel of land, together with the improvements thereon and the appurtenances thereunto belonging, lying and being situate in the Gladeville Magisterial District, Wise County, Virginia, and more particularly bounded and described as follows, to-wit:

     Beginning at an iron pin located as follows: beginning at an iron pin on the west side of Hurricane Branch Road, thence N 66° 00’ W 172.14 feet to an iron pin; thence S 14° 42’ W 393.75 feet to an iron pin; thence N 78° 01’ W 447.39 feet to the beginning iron pin; beginning at said iron pin, thence S 78° 01’ W 72.07 feet; thence N 11° 59’ E 100.00 feet; thence S 85° 45’ W 300.00 feet; thence S 16° 45’ W 100.00 feet; thence N 81° 30’ E 239.34 feet to the beginning, containing 1.33 acres, more or less.

     And being the same property conveyed to Mavis Collier and Lisa Ledford from Sam Maggard, Samantha Maggard, and Lahoma Lee Maggard by Deed dated March 14, 1986, and recorded August 1, 1986, in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Wise County, Virginia, in Deed Book 628, at Page 584.

     And further being the same property in which an undivided two-thirds interest was conveyed to Samantha Maggard and Lahoma Maggard from James Daniel Kilgore, Special Commissioner, by Special Commissioner’s Deed dated August 30, 1991, and recorded September 3, 1991, in the aforementioned Clerk’s Office in Deed Book 716, at Page 148. 

   This description is made subject to all easements, conditions, agreements, restrictions, and reservations of record which affect the property herein described including but not limited to those recorded in Deed Book 157, at Page 466 and Deed Book 833, at Page 551.

    IT APPEARING that an Affidavit has been made and filed stating that due diligence has been used, without effect, to ascertain the identity and location of certain parties to be served, that the last known addresses for the Respondents herein are as follows: Samantha Maggard aka Samantha A. Collins, who is believed to be deceased and whose last known address is  unknown; Jessica Maggard aka Jessica Burton, whose last known address is  unknown; Mavis Collier aka Mavis U. Ledford, who is believed to be deceased and whose last known address is 6826 Redwine Road, Wise, Virginia 24293; Jamie L. Ledford, who is believed to be deceased and whose last known address is P.O. Box 235, Bangor, Michigan 49013; Renee Denham, who is believed to be deceased and whose last known address is 1541 Spring Avenue SW, Norton, Virginia 24273; and that any officers, heirs, devisees, and successors in title of the Respondent named herein are made parties Respondent to this action individually and/or by the general description of Parties Unknown, it is hereby 

     ORDERED that the parties herein and all Parties Unknown and/or whose location cannot be ascertained appear on or before April 30, 2026 in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of the County of Wise, Virginia, and do what may be necessary to protect their interests in this cause.
