MYRNA KAY ORR

Myrna Kay Orr, 80, of Pendleton, went to be with her Lord and Savior and her beloved husband Jimmy, on December 16, 2025, at her home. She was born on December 16, 1945, in Wise, Virginia, to her parents, Mildred and C. Walter Lester, and resided most of her life in Pendleton.
Myrna graduated from J.J. Kelly High School in 1964, and played an active role in planning all of her class reunions.
She worked as a secretary for The First United Methodist Church in Anderson and after 19 years of dedicated service, she retired in 1992 to spend time with her cherished grandchildren.
Myrna was a lifetime member of The Order of The Eastern Star with her mother, Mildred, and she was also a member of South Meridian Church of God in Anderson.
She loved gardening, crafting and reading, and she was often found sitting on her front porch visiting with her neighbors.
Myrna had a unique ability to make us all laugh, she loved deeply and unconditionally, and she loved Jesus and was a witness to all.
Myrna is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Brad) Lindenmayer; step-son, Greg (Jill) Orr; three granddaughters, Kayla (Jordan) Masters, Claire Lindenmayer and Jamie (Hunter) Stinchcomb; her two cherished great-granddaughters, Norah Masters and Tana Stinchcomb; along with her siblings, Judy (Jim) Webb, Walter Lester, Sharon (Bill) Hodges, Bill (Jill) Lester, Marsha (Jack) Tolbert, Rodney (Earlene) Lester, Kathy (Henry) Holbrook and Donna (Conley) Holbrook; her best friend, Joella Squires; her beloved dog, Margo and many cherished family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James Orr; her parents as well as her siblings, Nancy McDaniel and David Lester.
Cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date at South Meridian Church of God in Anderson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Meridian Church of God.
