PEGGY "PJ" DIMICK (SKEEN)

Peggy Joyce "PJ" Dimick (Skeen) died November 10, 2025. She returned to her heavenly father peacefully surrounded by family. Peggy Joyce Skeen was born May 7, 1939, in Wise, Wise County, Virginia she was 86 years old at the time of her passing. 
Peggy was blessed by an enormous family and centuries of family history in the mountains of Appalachia. PJ was ambitious, industrious, smart and loved being on the move. PJ was incredibly talented, loved to learn, and was a voracious reader. Peggy was real-estate broker, an investor, owed a well drilling company, created hundreds of incredible quilts, was a seamstress, gardener, hunter, fisherwoman, dance teacher, girlfriend, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. 
She is survived by her sister Janet (Tom), one brother Wendell, Daughter Billie, Daughter Carolyn (Phil) and son Charles (Valerie). She is also survived by many Grand Children and Great Grand Children. 
Peggy was proceeded in death by her loving partner of 40 years Wayne Floyd, her parents Torrence and Blanche, two brothers Torrence-Buddy and Donald, a Grandson Brandon Charles and dozens of aunts and uncles and a massive extended family. 
Peggy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings in her beloved faith. Her most cherished calling was serving as a stake dance director for many years. Peggy lived in Kingsport Tennessee, Albuquerque NM, Las Vegas NV and for many years in Eureka Utah. The last several years PJ endured health issues that caused physical and mental limitations that caused Peggy much frustration. Peggy collected lifelong friends wherever her path took her. Peggy is certainly visiting with hundreds of loved ones that returned to their heavenly home prior to Peggy's arrival. She is now organizing family reunions and get togethers. 
A farewell service for PJ will be held Wednesday November 19, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm at LDS Center 3300 North Buffalo Dr LV NV
