TOMMY M. DAVIS

NORTON, VA – Tommy M. Davis, 78, died Friday, October 31, 2025, at Norton Community Hospital. He was a US Army Veteran and was a retired Foreman at Red River Coal Company. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd. Tommy was also a member of the Nitebeat Band in the 1960s. 

He was a son of the late L. Dow Davis and Mattie Mae Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Elyn Jean Davis; a grandson, Mark Davis, Jr.; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Nina Marshall.

He is survived by his wife, Deb Marshall Davis of Norton, VA; a son, Mark Davis of Pulaski, VA; a daughter, Renee Young and her husband Tierra of Norton; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Carol Gilliam and her husband Larry of Norton and Ann Ayers and her husband Dane of Christiansburg, VA; sister-in-law, Myra "Sue" Marshall of Norton; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be announced later.
