SPECIAL COMMISSIONER’S SALE OF REAL ESTATE
Pursuant to and by virtue of a decree of the Circuit Court of the County of Wise, Virginia, made and entered October 2, 2025, in the cause therein pending under the style of Teresa Holt, Administrator of the Estate of Jennie G. Hill, Deceased vs. Whitney Michelle Adams, et al, CL25000723, and after being published once a week for two (2) successive weeks in The Coalfield Progress, a newspaper of general circulation in the County of Wise and the City of Norton, the undersigned, Freddie E. Mullins, Esq., Special Commissioner of the said Court, will offer for sale at PUBLIC AUCTION to the highest bidder, on the terms hereinafter stated, at the front door of the Wise County Courthouse on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., the following described real estate in Wise County, Virginia, being more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL ID NO. 492-A-22; TAX MAP ID 232N1140:
TRACT ONE: All that certain tract, piece or parcel of land, lying and being in the County of Wise, Virginia, near the West end of Middle Norton, on the North side of County Pike road that leads from Norton to West Norton, and more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point 940 feet Eastwardly from the intersection of the Eastern line of an 18 feet wide alley and the Northern line of State Highway right of way, thence leaving the said highway and along the Eastern line of the R. M. Davidson property, N 1° 00′ E 342 feet to the Southern line of the Interstate Railroad, thence along the Southern line of said railroad, N 89° 55′ E 60 feet to a stake, thence N 80° 17′ E 50 feet to the Northwest corner of the W. F. Roberts property; thence with the West line of said property, S 1° 42′ E 344 feet to the Northern line of State Highway, thence with the Northern line of said highway, S 50° 17′ W 60 feet to a stake, thence S 89° 55′ W 60 feet to the BEGINNING.
TRACT TWO: All that certain tract, piece or parcel of land situated in West Norton, Wise County, Virginia, and being bounded and described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin in fence, and in line of Vandervender and in the Eastern edge of a 12′ right-of-way, a common corner to Mozelle Jackson, thence with said Jackson, S 81° 17′ W, 33.08′ to an iron pin; thence N 09° 40″ W, 43.06′ to an iron pin; thence N 81° 17′ E, 40.35′ to an iron pin in line of Vandervender; thence with said Vandervender South 43.56′ to the BEGINNING, containing 0.0362 acres, together with a 12′ right-of-way into the above described parcel, and being more particularly described in that certain Deed dated May 13, 2011, Instrument No. 2011001263, of record in the Clerk’s Office.
This sale will be subject to the approval and confirmation of the Court.
Terms of Sale: Bidder's Deposit of ten percent (10%) of purchase price with cash balance due within thirty (30) days of the sale. The deed of conveyance shall be made with special warranty of title.
