IN RE: ADOPTION OF A MINOR CHILD NAMED SHELBY GRACE SUMNER BY GARRY RANDAL SUMNER AND TONJUA SUE SUMNER, HIS WIFE

    The object of this case is to enable the petitioners, Garry Randal Sumner and Tonjua Sue Sumner, his wife, to adopt a minor child named Shelby Grace Sumner.

   An Affidavit having been made and signed that the whereabouts of the alleged natural mother, Jennifer Ann Shell Sumner, is unknown, that her last address is unknown, and that there is no current address or information available indicating her whereabouts, it is hereby ORDERED that Jennifer Ann Shell Sumner appear in the Wise County Circuit Court on or before November 14, 2025, and do whatever is necessary to protect her interest.

    It is further ORDERED that this Order of Publication shall be published once a week for four (4) consecutive weeks in The Coalfield Progress, a newspaper of general circulation in Wise County, Virginia.
