NOTICE OF 

PUBLIC HEARING

    The Wise County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 5:00 PM in the Education Center at the Wise County School Board on Lake Street in Wise. The Planning Commission will review and hear public comments for:

    Case #25-06 – Recovery Soldiers Ministries is requesting a Rezoning and Special Use Permit on tax Parcel ID # 009469. They are also presenting a Plan of Development for their recovery center. The Parcel is currently zoned A-RR.

     Case #25-07 – Dean Ferguson is requesting a Special Use Permit on tax Parcel ID # 016350 to place storage units. The Parcel is currently zoned R-2.

    The public is invited to attend and speak in favor of or opposition to these requests. The full text of the request and maps are available for viewing in the Office of the Zoning Administrator in the Wise County Courthouse.
