ANNEDIA STURGILL

WISE, VA- Annedia Sturgill, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.

She was a longtime member of the Lighthouse Family Worship Center in Wise, Virginia and was a retired employee from the Napoleon Hill Foundation at UVA-Wise.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Sturgill; a son, Jeff “Toehead” Sturgill; mother, Edith Sturgill; and a son-in-law, Ronnie Mullins.

Surviving are daughter, Rhonda Mullins; daughter-in-law, Vonda Sturgill and husband Tim; grandchildren, Ashley Elliott and fiancé Mark Smith, Tyson Elliott and wife Kim, Tosha Wyatt and husband Josh, Zane Sturgill and wife Chelsea, and Hayleigh Strouth and husband Dalton; great-grandchildren, Claire, Cameron, Brayden, Gracie, Katherine, Halle, Waylan, and Neylan; a brother, Roger Kannon; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Annedia Sturgill will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Roger Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap, VA. Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. till time of services at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
