MARILYN SUE SLOCE HENSLEY

NORTON, VA - Marilyn Sue Sloce Hensley, 67, passed away Saturday, May 24, at Johnson City Medical Center.  

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Hattie Sloce, her husband, Randall Hensley, a daughter, Melissa Hensley, a son, Joshua Hensley, and her brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Euritha Sloce.

 Marilyn is survived by a daughter, Stephanie (Travis) Perry of Coeburn, a grandson who she raised, Jourdyn Sexton of Norton, granddaughters Hannah (Harley) Smith and Katie (Cameron) Stanley, four great-grandchildren, Lyla, Reverie, Jocko, and Connelly, a nephew and niece who she loved as her own, David (Deby) Sloce and Becky (Mark) Mullins, great-nieces Emerald (Austin) Stidham, Sass (David) Sheppard, and Sia (Devin) Cradic, as well as many other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

 Marilyn was a member of Norton Pentecostal Church where she was the pianist.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren, and reading.

 Services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Norton Pentecostal Church, P.O. Box 619, Norton, VA 24273.
