PUBLIC HEARING - Wise County Board of Supervisors - Amendment to the Wise County Zoning Ordinance; Mark Edward Broyles has requested a change of Zoning

NOTICE OF 

PUBLIC HEARING

      The Wise County Planning Commission and the County of Wise will hold a joint public hearing with the Wise County Board of Supervisors on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Education Center at the Wise County School Board on Lake Street in Wise. The Planning Commission and the County of Wise will review and hear public comments for:

    Case #25-04 – The Wise County Board of Supervisors will consider an amendment to the Wise County Zoning Ordinance. The proposed amendment pertains to the permitted uses within the M-1 and M-2 Zoning Districts.

   The Wise County Planning Commission will also review and hear public comments for:

   Case #25-05 – Mark Edward Broyles has requested a change of Zoning on Parcel # 014712 from an R-2 (General Residential District) to an A-RR (Agricultural-Rural Residential District). 

     The public is invited to attend and speak in favor of or opposition to these requests. The full text of the requests and maps are available for viewing in the Office of the Zoning Administrator in the Wise County Courthouse.
