DONNIE FRANKLIN SHORT SR

September 26, 1940 - April 26, 2025

Donnie Franklin Short, Sr., 84, of Sevierville, TN passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025. He was born on September 26, 1940, in Pound, VA. Donnie was a retired Formal Coal Miner and life-long resident of Wise, VA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anderson and Eula Short; his wife, Nancy Kate Short: numerous brothers and sisters.

Donnie is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie F. Short, Jr. (Kim), Bobby J. Short (Angie), Stacy Lee Short (Kelly): and Anderson "Andy" B. Short (Jessica); grandchildren, Katie Short, Madison Short, Anderson Short, MaKenize Puckett, and Jayden Little; sister, Gala Phillips: numerous generations of nieces and nephews; many extended loving family members and friends.
