Seven new cases

Wise County reported seven new COVID-19 cases between June 6 and Tuesday.
According to Virginia Department of Health statistics, the county’s total number of cases since spring 2020 was 14,175 as of Tuesday, compared to 14,168 one week earlier.
Wise County’s total number of COVID deaths remained at 238.

The department’s cumulative positive case count for Norton remained at 1,627.

The city’s total number of deaths remained at 22.
