WORLEY KENNETH HILL
October 17, 1947 - November 28, 2022
Worley Kenneth Hill, 75, of Dandridge Tennessee, entered into rest Monday, November 28, 2022, at his residence after a period of declining health.
Born in Coeburn, Virginia, he was a son of the late Walter and Elsie Hamilton Hill and was a retired coal miner. Worley was a handyman of many trades and loved being on the lake and camping in the mountains. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Hill; a sister, Rita Faye Gibson; brothers, Walter Hill, Jr, Roger Hill, and Willis Hill.
Survivors include his companion of over 25 years, Arbutus Tickles of the home; daughter, Alaine Stacy and husband Franklin of Appalachia, VA; grandchildren, Michael Slush, Martha Thompson, Robert Hill, Jr., Aaron Hill and Brendan Hill; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Roy Hill of Dandridge, TN, Ray Hill of Coeburn, VA and half-brother, Harvey Hall of WVA; sisters-in-law, Bernice Hill and Debbie Hill both of Sevierville, TN; brother-in-law, James Gibson of Coeburn, VA; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Visitation was Monday, December 5, 2022, from Noon to 1:00 p.m. at Estes Funeral Home, services followed in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Willy Stanley officiating. Music was provided by his family and friends. Burial followed in the Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton Town Road in Coeburn, VA.
