Food vouchers offered for Norton Community Thanksgiving meal

The Churches of Norton, including Norton United Methodist Church, Norton First Church of God, Norton Christian Church, Norton First Baptist Church, St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, All Saints Episcopal Church, Church of The Good Shepherd, Zion Church, Freedom of Worship, Norton Pentecostal Church, Chestnut Grove Church, and The Cave Church, in cooperation with Mountain Empire Older Citizens, again wish to share Thanksgiving Blessings with residents of the City of Norton. This year, because of the COVD-19 emergency, we will be unable to deliver meals. We hope to be able to resume Thanksgiving meal delivery in the future, but this Thanksgiving we will provide a food voucher which may be used at Food City.

If you would like to have a gift voucher sent to you, please call Mountain Empire Older Citizens at 276/523-4202 by Nov. 15. The vouchers will be distributed on a first come first serve basis.
