SHEILA EVERIDGE

October 24, 2022

Sheila Renee Mullins Everidge, 46, of Pound, entered into eternal rest Tuesday September 27, 2022 from the Dickenson Community Hospital. Her loving family was at her side.

Shelia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She had a compassionate heart and was always doing for others, she could never say no to anyone. Shelia was soft spoken

and had an innocent smile, but if pushed too much she would speak her peace. Shelia was an avid reader, she liked books of all kinds. She was a dedicated U K Wildcat fan, she enjoyed camping and loved animals of all kinds and a good cup of coffee.

Shelia was an LPN since 1995, having spent most of her career at Heritage Hall in Big Stone Gap until the covid pandemic hit and after losing so many of her patients she had to make a career change. She was currently working at Food City in Wise but was scheduled to take a position as a school nurse for Wise County Schools. She will certainly be missed by everyone who knew her.

Shelia was preceded in death by her father Gary Mullins Sr.; and her maternal grandparents Troy and Margaret Triplett.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years William Everidge; her daughters Makenzie Craft and husband Eli-Gate City, Makayla Everidge and companion Jamie Mullins of Gate City;   and Makenna Everidge of Pound; her son Christian Everidge of Pound; grandsons Levi Craft and Augustus Mullins; her mother Patricia Mullins Gymrek and husband Daniel of Weber City; her brother Gary Mullins Jr. and wife Christine of Big Stone Gap; nephews Logan and Cory Mullins of Big Stone Gap; her paternal grandmother Nannie Beverly of Pound; a host of friends and loved ones; and her four-legged sidekick Fiona (Roni).

Funeral services were conducted Friday September 30 in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Carter officiating. The family received friends from 10 am until time of services.

Burial followed in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap where William Everidge, Christian Everidge, Eli Craft, Jamie Mullins, Logan Mullins, Cory Mullins, Dan Gmyrek and Wayne Smith served as pallbearers. Her close knit group of fellow employees from Food City served as honorary pallbearers.
