RALPH WAYNE BRANSON

Ralph Wayne Branson, 77, of Pittsburgh, PA, died on August 18, 2022 in Monroeville, PA at his daughter Deborah’s home.

Ralph is survived by his wife Janice Shaginaw Branson of Pittsburgh; his daughter Deborah Branson, Peter Zlokas of Monroeville, PA; his son Jeffery Branson, Kayla Eagan of Pittsburgh; and brother Harlis Branson, Nancy Branson of Valdosta, GA; grandchildren Peter Zlokas Jr., Brieanna Tiani, Josh Zlokas, Maxx Tiani and Giada Tiani.

Ralph was preceded in death by his brothers Hershel Branson, David Branson, Glenn Adams, James Adams, Eugene Adams, Wendell Adams, and Charles Branson; and his parents Wix Branson and Justine Hampton Branson.

Ralph was born September 7, 1944 in Pound, VA to his parents Wix and Justine (Hampton) Branson. He was a service member in the United States Navy as and engine mechanic, followed by 32 years working for H. J. Hienz. Ralph enjoyed family, friends gardening and anything outdoors.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 23 followed by funeral services at 7:00 p.m. in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel at 11316 Riverside drive, Pound.

Ralph will be laid to rest Wednesday August 24 at 11:00 am at the Branson Family Cemetery on Rose Short Hollow Road in Pound where family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.

  Whitesburg American Legion Post will perform military graveside honors. Family members and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:00 am to prepare to go in procession to the cemetery.
