CLEO NIECE STALLARD

Cleo Niece Stallard, 84, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022 at her home on Guest River.

She was of the Primitive Baptist faith and was a member of Little Stone Gap Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy V. Stallard; parents, Eula Thacker and Clarence Niece; two brothers, Mitchell Niece and Ronald Thacker and one sister, Alta Collins.

Surviving are her five children, Larry (Teresa) Stallard, Teresa (Allen) Collins, Darrell Stallard, Jimmy (Crea) Stallard and Deborah (David) Boles; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Wendell Thacker, Gerald Thacker and Gary Thacker; sister, Christine Shupe and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Cleo Stallard were conducted at 4:00 p.m. Monday, July 4 at the Sturgill Funeral Home chapel in Wise with Elder Aaron Williams officiating. The family received friends from 2:00 p.m. until time of services.

Graveside committal services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 5 at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap. Burial will follow.
