ANTHONY ALEXANDER SCOTT

Anthony Alexander Scott, 69, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home.

Anthony was a former employee of Glen Finer Homes, Cody Equipment, Joy Mining Machinery and King Coal Motors and a former Member of Norton Rescue Squad.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ted Hunter Scott and Mabel Ruth Robinette Scott; brothers, Joe Scott, Mack Scott, Rex Scott and Jack Scott; sister, Barbara Jessee and an infant sister, Elizabeth Scott.

Surviving are a son, William Hunter Scott and wife Whitney; daughter, Alexandra Scott Osborne and husband Joshua; grandchildren, Brooklyn Scott, Connor Osborne and Madison Osborne; brothers, Gordon Scott, Jerry Scott and wife Cindy, Shannon Scott and wife Shari and Gilmer Scott and wife Gwen; sister, June Sturgill and husband John Paul; brother-in-law, Billy Jessee; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Anthony Scott are incomplete at this time but will be updated on the Sturgill Funeral Home website listed below. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Anthony Scott’s grandkid’s college fund at New Peoples Bank in Norton, VA.
