Recycling project

The latest project for Town and Country Garden Club of Wise is recycling plastic bags. This is also a new project for many other Virginia garden clubs in cooperation with Trex Corporation. Town and Country hopes to collect 500 pounds of bags between October and the end of March. If successful, the club will get an outdoor Trex bench to place in the community . Members are collecting bags and other soft plastics from family and friends and bringing them to monthly club meetings. Pictured is Patsy Stephens, project chair, delivering the first load of bags to Food City of Wise. We thank them for serving as one of our recycling partners.
