The Wise County Chamber of Commerce’s 66th Annual Dinner & Gala/Silent Auction will be held Saturday, August 14, at The David J. Prior Convocation Center.

This year’s theme is “Murder on the Chamber Express” a 1930’s murder mystery. The festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a reception following the auction. The items for the silent auction will also be on display at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will follow at 7 p.m. Dress is semi-formal. The era of the evening is set in the 1930’s so attire and style from that time is recommended to help set the scene. What a great opportunity to dress up!

There will be food and drinks, some popular of that time period. There will be wonderful decorations with a touch of vintage charm and included in the theme of the evening there will be murder! A dance will immediately follow the program.

In addition to dinner, music and dancing, the event will feature the presentation of the 2020 Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award and the Distinguished Service Award.
