MORRIS BURCHETTE

Morris Keller Burchette, 96, of Norton, died Friday, June 25, 2021, at Mountain View Regional Long Term Care.

He was a member of the Norton United Methodist Church. Mr. Burchette owned and operated Burchette Photography and was past president of Virginia Professional Photographers Association. He was a WWII veteran having served in the US Army and the US Air Force. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Quirk Burchette and a brother Emory Burchette.

He is survived by his sons, Keith Burchette of Norton., Alan Burchette and his wife Vanessa of Danville; grandchildren, Rachel Burchette, Sandy Witt and her husband Paul, great grandchildren, Trinity Witt and Austin Witt.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Thursday, July 1, at Highland Cemetery in Norton with Rev. Ken Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends at 10 am at Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home in Norton.
