BETTY A. HUGHES

Betty A. Hughes, 89, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Betty attended Marys Chapel and South Coeburn Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Walter and Delphia Hughes; and brothers: Clifford Eugene Hughes and Walter Hughes Jr. 

She is survived by one sister, Mary Francis Culbertson of Ohio; two brothers, Fred Hughes of Ohio and John Hughes of South Carolina; and sister-in-law: Joyce Hughes of Coeburn.

There will be a graveside service conducted Friday, June 18 at 1 pm in the Greenwood Acres Memorial Garden Cemetery with burial to follow. Rev. Les Ritchie officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Estes Funeral Home will be serving the Hughes family.
