SNAP benefits are coming

Virginia’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program will release emergency benefits to eligible households on Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Benefits will be automatically loaded to electronic benefits transfer cards.

These emergency allotments will increase existing SNAP benefits to the maximum monthly amount based on household size:

• One person, $204.

• Two, $374.

• Three, $535.

• Four, $680.

• Five, $807.

• Six, $969.

• Seven, $1,071.

• Eight, $1,224.

• Each additional person, $153.
