New service offered by library

Coalfield Progress - Homespun

Lonesome Pine Regional Library announces an easier way to borrow, with twelve electronic lockers placed across Dickenson, Scott, Lee, and Wise County and the City of Norton for contact-free pick-ups. The first phase of installation will begin February 1 and will service the following Southwest Virginia locations:

Norton Community Center-Norton

Regency Towers-Norton

Village Pharmacy-Duffield

Clinchco Community Center- Clinchco

Other locker services coming soon to Rose Hill, Pound, Nickelsville, Appalachia and other sites to be determined. Use of lockers is available to any patron with a library card.

The funding for these projects is allocated in part from the COVID CARES Act through the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Library of Virginia
