KAY (GLENDA) BUCHANAN

Kay (Glenda) Buchanan, age 58, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Thursday, January, 21st, 2021.

Kay was a devoted grandmother who loved her grandchildren with all of her heart. She was a member of Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Albie and Alva Rose.

She is survived by her daughter: Melissa (Alan) Rutherford; two brothers: Kenneth (Dinah) Rose and Randall (Gi) Rose; two sisters: Ethel Rose and Louise (Kermit) Harvey; special twin sister: Linda Lee (Bruce) Stidham; special nieces and nephews who were like children; Michelle Baker, Josh Lee, Lindsey Massey and Katie Stidham; four grandchildren: Cole (Tori) Rutherford, Grant (Hannah) Rutherford, Olivia Rutherford and Andrew Rutherford; two great-grandchildren: Hudson Rutherford and Owen Rutherford; several nieces and nephews; and a faithful four-legged companion, Buffy.

A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, January, 26 at the Estes Funeral Home Chapel where visitation will be held from 4 to 6 pm with services to begin at 6 pm. with clergyman Willie Stanley officiating.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in the Hamilton Cemetery (Hamilton Town Section of Coeburn)

Estes Funeral Home will be serving the Buchanan family.
