BOBBY LEE MULLINS
Bobby Lee Mullins “Papaw Bob,” 87, of Wise, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 31, 2020.
He attended Living Waters House of Prayer before his passing and was a deacon at Duncan Gap Freewill Baptist Church for many years prior.
Bob was a retired coal miner, a member of the United Mine Workers Association, and was the kindest and gentlest man that most of us have ever known.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Mullins; his parents, Dock and Hattie Mullins; his sister, Polly Mullins; and his brother, Ola Gene Mullins.
Surviving are his sister, Edith Davis; brothers, Elmer and wife Gaye, Ottis and wife Juanita, Cecil and wife Joyce, Darrell and wife Lisa, and Kyle; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
For even though he did not have kids of his own, he lived up to the title “Papaw Bob” and was a papaw, father, uncle, brother, and friend to many. He will be sorely missed.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Peggy Debord, a retired nurse and friend of Bob, for the care she extended to him in his final days.
