GLENN ‘SOUP’ MILLER

Glenn G.T. “Soup” Miller, 84, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at his home in Wise.

He was a member of Bethel Chapel Church, a retired coal miner and a member of UMWA.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jean Miller Lane; his parents and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are his loving wife of 65 years, Alvonia Miller; daughter, Janice Weaver and husband Stephen; three grandchildren, Andora Reed and husband Stephen, Jason Lane and wife Mandy, and Noah Weaver; four great-grandchildren; brother, Robert “Tiny” Miller and wife Judy; and a host of other relatives and friends.

All services will be private. Burial will be held in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital – P.O. Box 50, Memphis TN 38101-9929.
