Funds needed: Name plates offered for press box update

Eagle Scout candidate, Ethan Rose of Troop 301, will be refurbishing and updating the inside of the Carl McConnell Alumni Stadium press box at Eastside High School in Coeburn.

The project will cost approximately $3,200. The school board has given $2,000 toward the project. To raise the remaining needed funds, Ethan is selling name plates for an In Honor of/In Memory of plaque to be displayed near the concession stand of the press box.

You may purchase a name plate from the following price tier: Bronze $10 -$50, Silver $51-$200, Gold $201-$400, Platinum $401-500.

Please make check payable to Eastside High School and designate it as Press Box Project. Include a note with your name, phone number, address, the name of In Honor of/In Memory of person, and any description you may want with the name. Mail your check and note to Press Box Project c/o Eastside High School, P.O. Box 2036, Coeburn, VA. 24230. Any money left over from the project will be donated to the Eastside football program.
