The Pound Lions Club recently presented this lovely bench to the Historical Society of the Pound as part of their community recycling project. After collecting 500 pounds of plastic, the Lions Club earns a nearly indestructible Trex bench. This is the third bench the club has earned; the other two were presented to J W Adams Combined School and to Pound IGA. This bench presented to the Historical Society was in honor and memory of past Lions Club members Richard and Lois Bolling. The Historical Society of the Pound sends a great big “thank you” for this wonderful gift from the Pound Lions Club.
