School virus numbers detailed

November 13, 2020

WISE — County schools Superintendent Greg Mullins addressed the current COVID-19 cases during Tuesday’s school board meeting.

According to Mullins, four students and 10 staff members are currently in quarantine due to exposure, while there are four active cases. Mullins was quick to add that these numbers are spread across various schools and do not appear to be clustered in any particular school.

Mullins advised the board that if the numbers continue to climb to a level that would force schools to close to deal with the outbreak, he and his staff were prepared to provide that information to the board.
