THELMA ‘PAULETTE’ COLVARD

On October 20, 2020, the world lost a beautiful soul as Thelma “Paulette” Colvard entered her heavenly home. She was 74 years old.

Paulette lived most of her life in Wise County, Virginia but also spent 15 years in Illinois. Paulette was met at the heavenly gates by her son Anthony Eugene Colvard as well as her parents Thomas and Pearl Mefford and brother Johnny Mefford.

Paulette left behind a loving husband, Russell R. “Turk” Colvard; son, Robert Colvard and one granddaughter, Alyssa Seals. Paulette is also survived by her five sisters; Rose (Eugene) Carter, Wise, Sue Bruner, Sacramento, CA, Crystal (Kevin) Craft, Norton, Wanda Green, Wise and Patricia (Randy) Vanover, Pound; as well as four brothers, Gary Mefford, Jack Mefford, and Ralph Mefford, all of Wise and Danny Mefford, Abingdon. Paulette also had a host of nieces and nephews.
