ELFRIEDE ‘FRIEDA’ KNOBLOCH NEWMAN

Elfriede “Frieda” Knobloch Newman, 82, of Norton, passed from this life peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

She was the daughter of Wilhelm and Philippine Flohr Knobloch, born in Albig, Alzey-Land, Germany.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Lotte, Wilhelmine and Elisabeth; twin brothers, Willie and Audi; her beloved mother-in-law, Audrey Newman; sister-in-law, Carolyn Newman; and two brothers-in-law, Larry Newman and Jack Newman.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charlie Newman; two daughters, Sandra Richmond and husband James of Statesville, NC and Dana Visser and husband Gary of Ada, MN; son, Christopher Newman of Norton; five grandchildren, Audrey Visser, Hunter Richmond, Samuel Visser, Gavin Newman and Grace Visser; two special nieces, Heidi Voelkel and Margot Lederer, both of Albig, Germany; and many other beloved family members.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and will forever be in our hearts.
