SHELBY (BETTY) TAYLOR

Shelby (Betty) Taylor, 83 of Cardington, Ohio died Saturday, August 8, 2020 at her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born on April 2, 1937 in Dwale, Virginia to the late Carley M. and Hester M. (Francisco) Mullins. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brother Eugene Mullins, sister Louise Ramey,  daughter Jeri Mahaffey, and son-in-law Don Powell.

Betty was employed by Ranco for many years making micro-electronics.  She enjoyed crafting, sewing and crocheting. 

She was strong women of faith and a member of the Cumberland Gap Church Of The Brethren. Kind and generous, Betty never met a stranger and enjoyed talking to anyone. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Survivors include four children Jamie (Deborah) Taylor of Marengo, Ohio Carla (Rick) Lanum of Marengo, Danielle (Jeff) Webb of Cardington and Paula Powell of Marengo; four siblings Fay Holloway, Vivian Ramey, Danny Mullins and Donna Childress all of Clintwood;  son-in-law Rick Mahaffey of Cardington;  ten grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren.
