Town hall shuts down in caution

Coeburn town hall is closed to the public because of increasing cases of COVID-19, Town Manager Jimmy Williams announced Tuesday.

Staff hopes to reopen Aug. 17.

Meanwhile, citizens are asked to drop off payments at the town hall drop box or to use the online payment system at https://townofcoeburn.com/ and click on the “Pay Bill” link near the top.

Also, the town receives payments by phone at 395-3323.

Williams cautions residents not to use a website by doxo.com. This is not associated with the town, he wrote, and could cause a delay of seven to 10 days in receiving town bill payments.
