Free virus testing is offered locally

Free testing for the COVID-19 coronavirus is being offered every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Wise, Lee and Scott county health departments.

Drive-through testing is available to people who meet state health department priority criteria. People are required to call in advance for a screening and schedule an appointment before coming to the health department.

Also, the Wise County health department will provide drive-in testing June 24 at St. Paul Elementary School and June 25 at Union High School, both from 2-4 p.m.
