TOMMY E. MULLINS

Tommy E. Mullins, 75, a loving husband and father, went on to be with the Lord on Monday, May 18, 2020.

He was the Pastor of Beckner’s Chapel Church in Wise, Virginia. He loved gardening and his church dinners.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ora Mae Mullins; step-dad, Stewart Mullins; and seven brothers and sisters.

Surviving are his loving wife of 50 years, Shirley A. Mullins; oldest daughter, Vada A. Wells and husband Jeffery L. of Wise; son, Tommy E. Mullins Jr. and wife Ashley N. of Wise; daughter, Wanda M. Collins and husband Matthew C.; his only surviving brother, Danny C. Mullins and wife Freda of Pound; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter on the way; and many loving family and friends.

Funeral services for Tommy E. Mullins were conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 at the Beckner’s Chapel Church, 701 Birchfield Road in Wise with Rev. Jerry Collier officiating. The family received friends from 5:30 p.m. until time of services.
State Mandated Guidelines on Social Distancing and Occupancy of the church for services were followed. Graveside services will be private. Burial will be in the Dewey Memorial Cemetery in Pound, VA. Please visit www.sturgillfuneral.com to leave online condolences for the family.
