MARGARET POWERS

Margaret Faye Greear Powers, 79, of Coeburn, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN.

She was the daughter of the late James Edison Greear and Cecile Margaret Pippin Greear, also preceded in death by sister, Ann Dewine, Knoxville, TN, three brothers, Don Greear, James Leon Greear and Franklin Burns Greear, Sr.

    Survivors include her Husband of 63 years,Curtis H. Powers, Coeburn, a daughter Donna Faye (Andrew) Frazier, Coeburn, three sons, Curtis Dwayne Powers, Travis H. (Robin) Powers and Jamie A. Powers, all of Coeburn, two sisters, Sue Pooley, Melbourne, FL and Mary Salyer, Norfolk, VA, a brother, Gary Greear, Coeburn, special friends, Eula Hughes and Thelma Greear, three grandchildren, one great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Margaret Faye Powers will be held on Sunday, February 23 at 3 pm at Estes Funeral Home chapel with Brother Bill Phillips. Music will be provided by special friend Mark Jenkins. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time.
