CECILE DINGUS

Cecile Dingus, entered into the gates of Heaven on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the Norton Community Hospital in Norton.

She attended East Park Ave Baptist Church, was a retired employee of Wise County Extension Office with over 45 years of service, was a master gardener and also worked with the Literacy Program.

Cecile was a blessing to everyone who knew her.

Surviving are a brother, Lawrence Dingus of Wise; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday, December 21 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise. Graveside committal services and burial will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 22 in the Dingus Cemetery in Wise with  Rev. Lee Kidd officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home to go to the cemetery in procession. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to a charity’s of one choice.
