ANNETTE HOLBROOK SMITH

Annette Holbrook Smith, 76, of Norton, went home to be present with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, on Sunday, December 8, 2019, at her home, surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren.

She was a faithful follower of Jesus from the age of 17 until she drew her final breath and the angels ushered her into the presence of the Lord.

She worked tirelessly for the Kingdom of God, along side her husband as deacon and pastor for 47 years, until her health made it no longer possible, but still witnessed to others her faith in her Saviour.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Holbrook of Wise; mother, Bonnie Holbrook of Wise; and a Brother, David Holbrook, of Wise.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jim Smith; daughter, Teresa Daniels and husband Eddie; son, J.W. Smith and wife Lacele; son, Danny Smith Pastor of Esserville Community Church and wife Marie all of Wise; six grandchildren, Josh Daniels and wife Sarah of Bristol, TN, Jessica Balthis and Husband Corey of Pound, Jada Smith, Joseph Smith of Wise, Taylor Smith of Norton and Elijah Smith of Wise; three great-grandchildren, Sadie and Paisley Daniels of Bristol, TN and Aubrey Balthis of Pound; siblings, Joyce Sutherland and late husband Denny of Findley, Ohio, Fran Horne of Wise, Dinah Price and late husband Jim of Wise, and Charlie Holbrook and Wife Jane of Heiskell, TN; sister-in-law, Teresa Holbrook of Wise; Henry Holbrook (wife Kathy) of Wise; and a host of other family and friends who loved her dearly.

Funeral services for Annette Smith will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the Esserville Community Church with Rev. Randy Sturgill officiating.

Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until time or services at 7 p.m. at the church. Graveside committal services and burial will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 11 in the Holbrook Family Cemetery in Wise. Family and friends will meet at 12:30 p.m.. Wednesday at the church to go to the cemetery in procession.
