CALVIN HIRAM REECE JR.
BIG ST0NE GAP, VA- Calvin Hiram Reece, 63 passed away
Sunday November 24, 2019 from the Bristol Regional Medical
Center- Bristol, TN.
Calvin was a auto mechanic, worked many years in coal
mining, then became self- employed making beautiful custom knives.
He was a Harley Davidson man and loved to ride when he could,
was an excellent blacksmith, and enjoyed camping. But what
Calvin loved the most was his family
and the time spent with them, especially his grandchildren.
Calvin was preceded death by his parents, Calvin Hiram Reece Sr.
and Mary (Osborne) Reece and a sister, Martha Gail Henehan.
Survivors include his daughters, Priscilla Reece- Bristol, VA and
Angelina Reece-Canton, NC: a son, Nick Reece and wife Rachel-
Norton, VA; grandchildren, Brookelynn Reece, Bentley Reece and
Reece Clark; nieces, Racheal Marbella Rebecca Mullins, Jaimee
Ward Anderson and Jennifer Adams; mother of his children, Debbie
Fisher; a special friend Debbie Rife, and several cousins and a host of friends and loved ones to mourn his passing and cherish his memory.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm Wednesday November
27, 2019 in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Jeremy Mullins
officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until time
of services. Burial will follow in the Laurel Grove Cemetery- Norton,
VA. where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
