JEFFERY LEN MULLINS

Jeffery Len Mullins, 64, of Pound, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 15, 2019, at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN.

He was a 1973 graduate of Pound High School. He was of the Christian faith and was a former foreman in the asphalt paving industry.

He cared greatly for his fur babies (Myrtle, Rosie, Cain, and Zeus) and was very active in assisting with Wise County youth sports especially with the football League. Everyone that truly knew him, knew that he did things his own way but had a big heart and cared for so many people.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mae Mullins; brothers, James Meade and Rodney Cantrell; and daughter, Jennifer Lee Mullins.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Ada E. Caudill (Crawford); Son, Jeffery Shannon (Shane) Mullins; daughter, Jessica Len Strouth and husband Shannon; Grandchildren, Kristen Bradley and husband Caleb, Jacob Lawson, Zachary Strouth, and Brody Strouth; brothers, Phillip Mullins and wife Vezanna, Butch Mullins, David Cantrell, Rocky Cantrell and wife Anita, and Max Cantrell and wife Pam; sisters, Linda Kelly and Carol Linkous; and many nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
