DAVID CHRISTOPHER BURKE

David Christopher Burke (GearBox) passed away in his home on October 12, at 10:30 a.m. after a long, difficult battle with colon cancer. He fought with all his might and showed amazing strength as another warrior in the battle against cancer and even in death gave everything he had in search of a cure.

David is survived by wife Patricia Burke, son Christopher (Bubba) Burke, daughter Sarah Burke; Bonnie and Billy Kilgore; Peggy Cress, Amanda Kilgore; nephews Levi Cress and Dalton Cress and girlfriend Andrea Mullins; great-nephew Liam Cress; niece Lakken Salyers; Mick and Pam Mullins and family; Nora Ann Mullins and family; Patty Reavis and family; uncle Richard and aunt Marcella Isaacs and their children; and brother James Andy Burke and his children.

David was also preceded by beloved niece Ariel Salyers.

David wanted to especially show thanks to Brittany and Josh Wampler for their continuous support they have selflessly given to his children for almost 20 years. We want to thank all of those for their thoughts and prayers and everyone that touched him and gave meaning to his life and comfort to his death.
