It was hard to tell Sunday who was most excited — kids or grown-ups — as they entered the hallway, above, of the transformed youth wing that had been off-limits to most everyone for six weeks. In that time, the familiar space where they gather at the First Church of God in Wise was artfully painted — floor to ceiling, every inch of every wall and 25 doors — to create the young people’s own Main Street community.
