Professor Emeritus Rhoda Bliese leads the academic procession at MECC Friday, followed by (second row) Rex McCarty, chair of the MECC Local Board, and MECC President Scott Hamilton; and (third row) Dr. Lawrence Fleenor, Rep. Morgan Griffith and Donnie Ratliff. MECC presented Fleenor and Ratliff with honorary degrees for their services to the college.
