Bret Barrett of Tri-Cities Herpetological Society holds an alligator snapping turtle as Chuck Hurd talks about the reptile during Saturday’s High Knob Naturalist Rally. According to the Smithsonian, the alligator snapping turtle is the largest freshwater turtle.
