Christmas Rook Tournament winners, left to right, are: first place – Marvin Barnette of Wise and Eunice Laster of Stickleyville; second place – Danny Gilliam of Bristol and Mary Newton of Dryden; third place – Gail Rains and Elza Cole of Jonesville. Rook tournaments are sponsored by Stickleyville Community-in-Action, Inc. to provide entertainment during the winter months. They are held the third Saturday of each month at Stickleyville Community Center, Lee County. Newcomers are welcome; if you don’t have a partner, we will provide one.
