J.I. Burton’s Blake Pientka and Austin Skeens finished as Group 2A West Region runnerup last week in the doubles competition. The two juniors advance to the VHSL Group 2A state semifinals this week at Radford University. Pientka and Skeens will play at 9 a.m. Friday in the semifinals against a duo from Riverheads.
