The winners of the Summer Series of Rook Tournaments sponsored by SCIA, Inc. for the month of July are pictured, left to right: first place - Eunice Laster of Stickleyville and Linda Fee of Jonesville; second place - Elza Cole of Jonesville and Jim Dotson of Wise, and third place - Bill Wampler and Marvin Barnette, both of Wise. The final tournament for the summer will be Aug. 9, the second Saturday of the month. The date had to be changed due to a scheduling conflict. The fee has been waived for this final summer tournament, and as another special treat, players can pick their own partners, instead of drawing names by lot.
